Vaseline Intensive Rescue Guide to Recording Continuing Professional Development

As recording continuing professional development (CPD) became mandatory this year, all pharmacists should become familiar with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain’s website www.uptodate.org.uk. If you’ve only kept your records on paper before there are lots of helpful guides, case studies and examples on the site, so why not use the Vaseline Intensive Rescue Skin Health Training Tool to get you started?

Once you have worked through the learning modules and completed the case studies you can log that you have completed the Vaseline Intensive Rescue Training Tool, which covers 12 individual Community Practice & General competencies listed below.

Competencies are the things that pharmacists or pharmacy technicians need to be able to understand and do in order to perform effectively1. Although competencies are important to broaden your knowledge and establish the areas you may need to improve, you by no means have to complete every single one, as some may not be relevant to your day to day role.

If you have any feedback about any element of the Skin Health Training Tool, we’d love to hear from you. You can either: fill out the form included in the pack, and fax it to 0207 331 9083; or e-mail vaseline@uk.cohnwolfe.com.
